I found another similar website to hypem.com that allows you to add your favourite songs out of the songs presented on the site to your own personal playlist. Though this one has a 'remix' section, showing only songs that are remixed. Very good music selection and awesome remixes you would maybe not have stumbled upon otherwise. It's very easy to use and I'm pretty sure I just found my newest distraction.

ReplyDeleteAs a DJ myself, websites like Hype Machine, Grooveshark, Nutsie and now We Are Hunted are extremely useful and necessary tools to being able to have access to the latest and most popular remixes. I think the popularity of websites like these illustrates how much we use and rely on the blogosphere for the latest music, news and whatever else we might be interested in, as a form of citizen journalism that fits our individual desires and needs in the now. I would argue that websites like We Are Hunted seek to synthesize the vast number of blogs that exist online, so that whatever we want or need, like hot new remixes, are only a search word away.
